Model 268DR “Enhanced Version�is a differential pressure transmitter with remote seal. Thanks to Taylor’s “All-Welded�technology in remote seal manufacturing as well as to the longstanding expertise, 268DR is the safest pressure transmitter on the market today since it offers unmatched performances. Thanks to the IEC61508/ISA S84.01 certification and the hardware/software redundancy with MTBF of over 100 years, the 268DR represents the smartest solution in Safety loop applications. 268DR is certified for use in SIL2 (1oo1) and SIL3 (1oo2 redundant configuration) loops.
Configuration is via hand held terminal or PC configuration platform. The transmitter is suitable for a broad selection of variants such as fill fluids and wetted materials, allowing total flexibility maximizing the cost-effective aspect, while also providing applications with critical process media at extended temperature ranges.
